Solar Bat Sunglasses Partners With TBF, Inc., To Support The Nation's Grassroots Anglers
 

                   
PONCA CITY, Okla. (Dec. 20, 2006) - The Bass Federation, Inc., (TBF) Wednesday announced that it has entered into a multi-year agreement to partner with Solar Bat as the official eyewear sponsor of TBF and its 46 TBF state federations and more than 1,500 TBF clubs.
     "The owner of Solar Bat, Dr. Gary Nesty, is not only a TBF and FLW Outdoors member, he is a practicing optometrist and a tournament fisherman himself," TBF Senior Vice President Chuck Rolfsmeyer said. "So he understands what anglers want, and possibly more importantly, what anglers need in lightweight, fully functional eye care. We are thrilled to have Solar Bat join TBF's growing sponsor family."
     The Solar Bat\TBF partnership will support the federation state teams as well as special events within each state in an effort to reach out to as many members as possible. Solar Bat will also support TBF's youth programs by providing quality eyewear for each of the TBF\FLW Outdoors National Guard Junior World Championship anglers as well as some of the collegiate fishing teams affiliated with TBF through the Collegiate Bass Anglers Association (CBAA). TBF-affiliated state federations can earn cash from Solar Bat to help fund their in-state programs, such as the youth and conservation work they do through the newly created Solar Bat Clear Vision rewards program. The rewards program will reward the top federation from each of the six divisions with cash, based on how effectively they market and promote the new Solar Bat relationship with-in their state events and media properties.
